Donna Corbett, LCSW

I initially chose to become a psychotherapist because of my interest in human emotional life and also, to be able to help others in the way that I had been helped. I am a licensed clinical social worker in both New York and New Jersey, receiving my MSW from Hunter College School of Social Work in 1989. In 1995, I completed a four-year program in Comprehensive Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis at the National Institute for the Psychotherapies. In 1996, I completed post masters training in the assessment and treatment of substance abuse at New York University. I have worked in both the public and private sector with many different individuals, cultures and issues.

My experience is extensive and I have continued learning throughout my career.

Yes, I am a trained clinician and good at what I do. The most important factor in a successful treatment though, is the relationship that we will build together. It is one that is unique, focused on you and what you need to improve the quality of your life.

That is my goal.

Erica Weber, LCSW

ericaHave you found yourself feeling stressed out, anxious and as if you’re always being spread too thin?
Are you constantly doubting your life choices and finding that you are often being much too hard on yourself?
Between work, relationships, and simply making your way through new stages of life, anxiety can begin creeping up on you more and more…
In today’s world, we deal with a multitude of stressors at any given time.

I have a true passion for the work that I do and greatly enjoy assisting others in overcoming obstacles and finding their happiness.

Therapy is a way of better understanding your feelings, thoughts and actions, allowing you to change and to become the best version of yourself. I strive to create a safe and supportive environment helping to make this possible My approach to helping focuses on you as the individual that you are and on your specific needs. Our work together may include aspects of cognitive behavioral therapy, supportive and strengths based therapy. The incorporation of mindfulness and meditative techniques also promotes reduced stress and increased enjoyment in your daily life.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the states of New Jersey and New York. I received a Master’s degree in clinical social work from Hunter College, with a specialization in the Mental Health/Health field, majoring in work with Individuals and Families. I specialize in working with individuals dealing with stress and anxiety, depression, low self-esteem and confidence, family and relationship related issues, and work, social and new stage of life stressors.

I look forward to meeting you and in helping you on the journey to improved confidence, decreased anxiety and an overall enhanced sense of peace.

ea web (2)I have always had a passion for the helping profession, and truly love what I do. I am a licensed clinical social worker in New Jersey, and graduate of New York University’s Silver School of Social work. I have had the privilege of being able to have many different clinical experiences. I have worked in a variety of social work settings including therapeutic communities, not-for-profit practices, hospitals as well as in a private practice setting, giving me the ability to work with many different populations.

These populations range from children to geriatric clients, individuals, couples, group and family therapy. I have worked with clients who are experiencing issues such as: substance abuse (and their families), eating disorders, mood disorders, trauma, grief, sexual abuse, blended families as well as many others.

I have experience with cognitive behavioral therapy, behavior modification therapy, structural family therapy, object relations as well as psychodynamic therapy. I regularly attend continuing education courses surpassing the required amount of education and training. This allows me to fulfill my desire for lifelong learning while being up to date on all the latest research, and treatments. From my experiences and studies I have learned the importance of discovering the uniqueness in my clients, and making their psychotherapy an individual experience for them.
